At Shipshape Cleaning we are proud of our achievements. We have worked hard to get our accreditations.
We are accredited with ISO 9001. We decided to work towards this accreditation in the summer of 2009 and reviewed our company procedures. Following our first audit by one of the assessors in February 2010, we achieved our accreditation. We had our most recent annual ISO audit in March last year and we passed with flying colours. We are extremely proud in this achievement.
We are also accredited with UKAS. When we passed our ISO9001 accreditation in March last year, we decided to work towards this higher accreditation in October. We passed this higher level accreditation, which is recognised nationally and for government contracts.
SAFE CONTRACTOR ACCREDITATION
In 2009 we also applied for SAFEcontractor accreditation and received the accreditation in December 2009. We are reviewed on our Health & Safety every year and we were awarded with our most recent certificate in May 2014. We have worked extremely hard to achieve this accreditation and are very conscious of all the Health & Safety legislative procedures in our industry. We use an external Health & Safety consultancy to review our procedures every 6 months.
Shipshape Cleaning is a valued corporate member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science. Our management team consists of associate members and members of the institute including our own registered assessor.
All of our training programmes are based around those supplied by the Institute itself for daily cleaning staff through to senior supervisory levels.
